New Selection of Top Chablis From Jean Paul et Benoit Droin
Our first batch of 2023s was gone in a flash, luckily we landed another batch from Jean Paul et Benoit Droin with a couple new skus for The List. We have limited quantities on a few Grand Cru bottlings, a few boxes of 1er Cru, and don't sleep on the village Chablis and Petit Chablis! I drank a few bottles of the 2022 Chablis and Petit Chablis and I'm quite sad I did not buy more. They are tremendous wines that had me doing a double take of the label to see if I'd grabbed a 1er Cru by mistake.
For this year's Hommage a Louis bottling, the Domaine amicably resolved a complaint about the naming of this bottle. It is now allowed to include "Les Clos" in the name, as it comes from a 1.4ha parcel from the legendary Grand Cru vineyard. Only 6 more bottles available, don't miss a chance to grab some!
